This sensational seasoning makes delicious jerk chicken. Add a dash of Caribbean flavor to beef, chicken, pork, seafood or vegetables. Most Jerk Seasonings have salt as one of the first ingredients. This makes it less expensive to produce but not as healthy for you. Our premium Jerk Seasoning is salt free. Jerk rub has a reputation for its heat and this rub won't disappoint. Use as a rub or sprinkle on chicken, pork, beef, fish, seafood (most definitely on shrimp) before grilling, roasting, smoking or baking. Use 1 tablespoon of rub per pound of meat and rub it in and be sure to cover both sides of the meat evenly. Place meat in a bag or bowl and refrigerate at least two hours or up to 8 hours. You can also make a jerk marinade by mixing juice from 1 large orange (1/4 cup), 1 1/2 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar, juice from 1-2 limes (2 tablespoons) and contents of the rub mix package.
